<p><strong>Look for I-82 slowdowns near Selah</strong></p>
<p>SELAH -- Beginning Monday, traffic will be restricted to one lane along Interstate 82 near Selah while crews install traffic recorders.</p>
<p>Restriction will occur in each direction from 6 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and continue until Thursday, according to the state Department of Transportation.</p>
<p>Motorists are being asked to slow down through the construction area where traffic will be shifted to the left lane.</p>

<p><strong>Fire destroys Yakima garage</strong></p>
<p>YAKIMA -- Fire officials are investigating a fire that destroyed a double-car garage Saturday.</p>
<p>Crews responded to the blaze in the 1500 block of McKinley Avenue about 5 p.m. and found the garage fully involved, firefighters said.</p>
<p>The garage was destroyed and minor damage was done to the house it was attached to as well as two neighboring houses, firefighters said.</p>
<p>Damage is estimated at $20,000, and the fire's cause has yet to be determined.</p>
