Timie Ann Morin
Timie Ann Morin, 53, a lifetime Yakima County resident, died Friday in Tieton.
Mrs. Morin was born in Yakima. She worked as an office manager for the family-owned auto dealership.
Survivors include her mother, Betty Morin of Tieton; five sisters, Kim Morin-Carnahn of Tieton, Gay Morin, Laural Morin and Marcy Morin, all of Yakima, and Saundra Roberts of Spokane; and two brothers, Tom Morin of Cowiche and Marty Morin of Yakima.
At her request, no formal services will be held.

Margaret McGahey
Margaret McGahey, 97, of Yakima died Thursday.
Mrs. McGahey was born in Minneapolis. She was a choir director, taught Sunday school and was a pastor's wife.
Survivors include a son, Don McGahey of Pocatello, Idaho; four daughters, Jean Purcell of Ellensburg, Billye Clark of Fircrest, Wash., Roberta Priest of Everett, Wash., and Rachel Keef of Yakima; 18 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Terrace Heights Memorial Park, with a luncheon to follow at Central Assembly of God in Yakima.

Debra D. Miller
Debra D. Miller, 52, of Yakima died Sunday.
Mrs. Miller was born in Seattle. She was a longtime Yakima resident.
Survivors include her husband, Tony Miller of Yakima; two brothers, Bryan Yost of Temecula, Calif., and Rodney Yost of the Philippines; and her father, Norman Yost of Packwood, Wash.

Jose Guerra
Jose Guerra, 74, of Granger died Thursday in Toppenish.
Mr. Guerra was born in Brownsville, Texas. He moved to the Granger area in the 1950s and worked as a farm laborer and eventually was a foreman for various farmers in the Valley. He later farmed on his own outside of Granger.
Survivors include his wife, Rosa of Granger; five sons, Jose of Toppenish, Felix and Enrique, both of Granger, Hejidio of Benton City, and Pedro of Sunnyside; a daughter, Maria Bennett of Sunnyside; two sisters, Angelita Pena of Sunnyside and Gloria Fraga of Chicago; and 12 grandchildren.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. today at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Granger. Interment will follow at the Zillah City Cemetery.

Gayle E. Stokes
Gayle E. Stokes, 72, of Union Gap died Sunday.
Mr. Stokes was born in Flemington, Mo. He lived in the Yakima area many years. He was an owner/operator in the trucking industry.
Survivors include a brother, Dewayne Stokes of Humansville, Mo.
No services are planned at this time.

Dorothy (Mason) Christian
Dorothy (Mason) Christian, 102, of Prosser died Sunday in Wapato.
Mrs. Christian was born in Bickleton. She was educated in Prosser and later became a legal secretary. She was also a court reporter and worked as a secretary for Prosser Branch Old National Bank and retired in 1971.
Survivors include her nieces, Floy Jean (Landin) Hansen of Sunnyside and Loretta Brown of Seattle; a nephew, Mervyn Case of Seattle; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
Viewing will be from noon to 7 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at Smith Funeral Home in Sunnyside. The funeral will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home, with burial at East Prosser Cemetery.

Jane M. Gopher
Jane M. Gopher, 53, of Yakima died Saturday at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Heart Butte, Mont. She moved to Washington at age 19. She worked as a laborer in agriculture.
Survivors include six brothers, Kenneth Gopher, Mike Gopher and Mike Robert Gopher, all of Montana, Anthony Charley of Washington, Frank Gopher of Oregon and Clarence Gopher of Yakima; and seven sisters, Ernestine Gopher of Seattle, Phyllis Grey of Montana, Josephine Gopher of Yakima, Andrea Ramage of Utah, Leona Gopher, Brenda Gopher and Lorraine Corona, all of Wapato.
The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. today at All Tribes Christian Life Center in Wapato, followed by overnight services. Burial will be 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Union Gap Cemetery.

Herbert E. Hawkins
Herbert E. Hawkins, 72, of Yakima died Friday in Yakima.
Mr. Hawkins was born in Lowndesboro, Ala. He was a high school football coach and also coached at Oregon State University, Weber State University and Colorado State University. He retired in 2000 from the Public Schools Employees of Washington States.
Survivors include his wife, Alice Jean Hawkins of Yakima; two sons, Edwin Troy Hawkins of Manson, Wash., and Michael Herbert Hawkins of Issaquah, Wash.; a daughter, Julie Ann Judd of Port Townsend, Wash.; a sister, Elizabeth Abbott of San Diego; and a twin brother, Hugh Hawkins of Las Vegas.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Keith and Keith Ninth Avenue Chapel. Services will be Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel on Englewood Avenue.

Esther K. VanHoy
Esther K. VanHoy, 91, of Yakima died Monday at Living Care Center.
Mrs. VanHoy was born in Heber Springs, Ark. She moved to Yakima with her husband and children in 1958. She worked in restaurants, garment factories and canneries prior to retirement.
Survivors include two daughters, Rita Marshall of Yakima and Trudy Darcey of Billings, Mont.; six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Shaw and Sons Funeral Directors. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with concluding services at Terrace Heights Memorial park.
