HORSESHOES: The Yakima Horseshoe Club will host the Monasmith Tournament at 8:30 a.m. Sunday at Elks Memorial Park. There will be divisions for men, women and juniors in the event to honor former world horseshoe champion John Monasmith, who was from Yakima.

BASKETBALL: The Zillah Leopard camp will be June 10-13 at Zillah Middle School. The camp is for boys and girls entering grades kindergarten through 8. Camp for grades K-2 will be from 8:15 to 10:15 a.m., grades 3-5 will be from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and grades 6-8 will be from 1 to 3 p.m. The camp fee is $65 if your register before May 23 or $75 after that. If you have two or more children participating, the fee is $55 each.
