<p>WAPATO &mdash; Two people were injured when a driver the Washington State Patrol said was drunk careened into the parking lot of a convenience store.</p><p>The crash happened at 5:05 p.m. Sunday in the parking lot of an unspecified store at the corner of Frontage Road and West First Street, according to a patrol bulletin.</p><p>Troopers said a 1989 Mercedes Benz driven by Adrian T. Eli veered off Frontage Road and into the parking lot, striking a cement block, which, in turn, hit a parked pickup truck.</p><p>Eli, 31, of Wapato, was taken to Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital, along with the driver of the truck, 28-year-old Jojo C. Miller, also of Wapato.</p><p>An update on their conditions was not immediately available.
