<p>&nbsp;</p><p>YAKIMA -- A registered sex offender from Yakima was sentenced this week to 15 years in federal prison for receiving child pornography. </p><p>The charges against Jesse Brent Stahl, 40, grew out of a rape investigation that included a search of his home in August 2006, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney's Office. </p><p>The search stemmed from allegations that Stahl had sex with a 19-year-old woman who police described as developmentally disabled and that he'd been caught spying on a 15-year-old girl in her bedroom, Yakima police said at the time. </p><p>Yakima police forwarded a computer found at his home to the FBI. Agents found more than 1,000 images of child pornography on the hard drive, prosecutors said. </p><p>Stahl has been in custody since he was arrested on federal charges in May 2007. </p><p>Stahl was already listed as a high-risk Level 3 sex offender.
