Luncheon slated for administrative pros The Yakima Valley chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals will hold a luncheon for Administrative Professional Week at noon April 23 at the Howard Johnson Plaza. The luncheon, which will celebrate the achievements of administrative professionals, will feature keynote speaker Sunny Kobe Cook, a former secretary and co-founder of Sleep Country USA, a mattress store chain. The business has been in Yakima under several different owners for about 15 years. The couple are doing business as Curfman Chem-Dry. Dale Curfman previously worked for Chem-Dry while studying at Central Washington University. Jennifer Curfman previously worked as the general manger of Lens Crafters in Union Gap. The couple are Yakima natives.
