  <body>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;State dance championships conclude&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;YAKIMA -- The Washington State Dance and Drill Championships finished Saturday with competion for Class 1A, 2A and 3A schools at the Yakima Valley SunDome. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Selah High School&amp;#39;s pom team received a superior rating for its performance, while West Valley High School&amp;#39;s pom team received an excellent rating. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Here are the results for the trophy winners: &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;3A Dance: First place, Hanford (Richland) &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;1A/2A Dance: First, Tumwater &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;1A/2A/3A Prop/production/color guard: First, Kamiakin (Kennewick) &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;1A/2A/3A Kick: First, Hanford; second, Yelm &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;1A/2A/3A Drill: First, Newport (Bellevue); second, Sammamish (Bellevue); third, Hazen (Renton); fourth, Interlake (Bellevue) &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;3A Hip-hop: First, Southridge (Kennewick); second, Columbia River (Vancouver); third, Shorecrest (Shoreline)  &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;1A/2A Hip-hop: First, West Valley (Spokane); second, Tumwater &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;3A Pom: First, Issaquah; second, Columbia River; third, Kamiakin; fourth, Kennewick &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;1A/2A Pom: First, West Valley (Spokane); second, Tumwater &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;3A Drilldown: First, Stephanie Hodges, Interlake; second, Shirley Kim, Sammamish; third, Chelsea Tageson-Crane, Capital (Olympia) &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Fire destroys West Valley mobile home&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; YAKIMA -- Two residents avoided injury in a fire that destroyed their West Valley home Saturday evening. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The singlewide mobile home at 871 West Slavin Road was engulfed in flames by the time the first firefighters arrived after the 5:17 p.m. alarm, said Capt. Joe Spear of the West Valley Fire Department. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The structure and two cars parked in front were destroyed. Firefighters were not able to determine the cause of the fire, Spear said. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;-- Yakima Herald-Republic&lt;/p&gt;</body>
