<p>&nbsp;</p> <p>ZILLAH, Wash. &mdash; Police are investigating a rash of car prowls in the east end of town that caused about $5,000 in stolen items and damage.</p> <p>Seventeen car burglaries occurred sometime between midnight and 6 a.m. Monday morning along Sunset and Kagely ways, Concord and Sharon drives, Second Avenue and North Eight Street.
