<p>YAKIMA, Wash. — Area rivers have crested and begun to recede.</p>
<p>The Naches River at Naches dropped below flood stage at 1 a.m. this morning, according to data from the Northwest River Forecast Center.</p>
<p>The Naches is at 16.6 feet currently. Flood stage is 17 feet.</p>
<p>For the Yakima River, it’s still going to take a little longer.</p>
<p>Forecast center data indicate the Yakima River at Parker had several peaks early this morning, the highest at 12.21 feet at 1:45 a.m.</p>
<p>The river currently is at 11.5 feet. Flood stage is 10 feet.</p>
<p>The National Weather Service anticipates a flood warning for the Yakima River will remain in effect until Saturday morning.</p>
