Orville Almus Crosswhite

Orville Almus Crosswhite, 89, of Moxee died on Friday.

He was born in Lead Hills, Ark., and worked as an apartment manager.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Crosswhite of Moxee; three sons, Floyd Crosswhite of Lakeview, Wash., Grant Crosswhite of Moxee and Michael Crosswhite of New Zealand; a daughter, Sandra Lee Wilson of South Carolina; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A 3 p.m. memorial service will be Saturday at East Valley Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah's Witnesses at 7003 Mieras Road.

Valley Hills Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

 

Ramon Vasquez

Ramon Vasquez, 73, of Wapato died Tuesday at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital.

He lived in the Yakima Valley for many years and worked in the farm industry.

Survivors include a son, Miguel Martinez of Yakima; four daughters, Rhoda Galvin, Marta Martinez, Maria Martinez and Sonia Martinez, all of Yakima; 27 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be at Meritt Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, with a 6 p.m. vigil service. Mass of Christian burial is at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, with burial to follow in the Reservation Community Memorial Park.
