Nylah F. Bocz

Nylah F. Bocz, 88, of Yakima died Thursday at Summitview Health Care Center.

She was born in Dillon, Mont., and moved to Ellensburg in 1950. She was a bookkeeper for more than 20 years at the former Brotherton Furniture Store. She had been a Yakima County resident since 1972.

Survivors include a daughter, Kitty Parker of Yakima; a son, Gary Bocz of Seattle; a sister, Vern Millard of Salt Lake City; a brother, Dale Johnson of Las Vegas, Nev.; and five grandchildren.

The graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in High Valley Cemetery, 2521 Robinson Canyon Road, Ellensburg.

Affordable Funeral Care of Ellensburg is in charge of arrangements.

 

Hugo Enrique Garibay

Hugo Enrique Garibay, infant son of Hugh Enrique Garibay and Maribel Reyna of Sunnyside, died Thursday at Skyline Hospital in White Salmon.

Besides his parents, survivors include his siblings, Robin Reyna, Diamond Valencia, Ruby Olmos, Jaden Reyna, Yesenia Garibay and Monica Garibay; and his grandparents, Jesus and Rosalia Garibay, and Maria Arreguin and Israel Reyna.

Viewing will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Smith Funeral Home, Grandview. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, also at Smith Funeral Home, Grandview. Burial will be in the Grandview Cemetery.

 

Laura Anna Krueger

Laura Anna Krueger, 101, of Bothell, Wash., formerly of Sunnyside, died Thursday.

She was born in Naches and lived for many years in the Sunnyside area. The family later moved to the Seattle area and, following the death of her husband, she moved to Mountlake Terrace, Wash., and then to Arbor Place Assisted Living in Everett, Wash.

Survivors include three sons, John of Seattle, Richard of Snohomish, Wash., and Stanley of Hamilton, Mont.; a daughter, Alice McClurken of Everett; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside.
