Barely 14 months after graduating from Prosser High School, where he was the state’s player of the year as a senior, Kellen Moore has become the people’s favorite in the race to become the starting quarterback at perennial Division I bowl team Boise State.
While Boise State coaches haven’t said who will become the team’s starter, the Idaho Statesman newspaper polled its readers to see who they thought would earn the starting nod as the Broncos’ quarterback.
As of Wednesday afternoon, 65 percent of poll respondents had picked Moore, with senior Bush Hamdan a distant second at 24 percent.
