Carol R. Cummins

Carol R. Cummins, 76, of Yakima died Friday in Yakima.

She was born in Tucson, Ariz.

Survivors include two sons, James Cummins of Yakima and John Cummins of Leavenworth, Wash.; a daughter, Pam Snell of Idaho; a brother, Kenneth Fisher of Tehachapi, Calif.; and a sister, Myrna Hardin
of Kingman, Ariz.

No services are planned.

Keith and Keith Funeral Home of Yakima is handling arrangements.

 

Chester Ray 'Chet' Gibbons

Chester Ray "Chet" Gibbons, 80, of Yakima died Friday at home.

He was born in Pocahontas, Ark.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Gibbons of
Yakima; a brother, Joseph Alan Gibbons; and two sisters, Laverne West and Dorothy Walker.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at West Valley Church of the Nazarene. A private graveside service will precede the memorial service.

Keith and Keith Funeral Home of Yakima is handling arrangements.

 

Reuben Weishaar

Reuben Weishaar, 78, died Thursday at Good Samaritan Health Care Center in Yakima.

He was born in Marsh, Mont.

He was a mechanical engineer and worked on many Northwest dams, including Bonneville, Priest Rapids and Grand Coulee. He also helped design upgrades at the now-closed Boise Cascade plywood mill in Yakima.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Weishaar of Yakima; three sons, Gene Dobbs and Richard Weishaar, both of Yakima, and Frank Dobbs of Union Gap; a daughter,
Donna Reynolds of Camas, Wash.; a brother, Sam Weishaar of Yakima; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home in Yakima.

 

Sarah Rae Casey-Lyczewski

Sarah Rae Casey-Lyczewski, 27, of Tieton died Friday.

She was born in Port Angeles, Wash., and attended school in the Highland School District.

Survivors include her parents, Terry and Joanne Casey; a brother, Christopher Casey; and her grandmothers, Mary Jean Casey and Alice Funkhouser.

A memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Keith and Keith Ninth
Avenue Chapel in Yakima.

 

Consuelo Trevino

Consuelo Trevino, 88, of Grandview died Friday at home.

She was born in San Juan, Texas. She moved in 1952 to the Grandview area, where she worked as a farm laborer, for Balcom and Moe and for various fruit warehouses.

Survivors include a son, Arnoldo Trevino of Weslaco, Texas; a daughter, Estella Trevino of Grandview; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Viewing and visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. today, with a rosary to be recited at 6 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home in Grandview.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Grandview. Burial will follow at the Grandview Cemetery.
