CWU spring game moved to noon

ELLENSBURG -- Central Washington's spring football game, initially scheduled to start at 1 p.m., has been moved to noon.

"With the hall of fame banquet starting at 5 o'clock, we wanted to give people an opportunity to attend both," CWU football coach Blaine Bennett said. "So we moved our game up an hour."

The game will mark the end of the Wildcats' spring workouts. Fall practices will begin Aug. 7 and Central's first game is set for Aug. 30 at Dixie State in St. George, Utah.
