Dillon-Anderson

Theresa Joy Dillon and David Lawrence Anderson have announced their engagement. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Jack Dillon of Yakima and the late Tommie Sue Dillon. The bridegroom-to-be is the son of Don and Donna Anderson of Pasco.

The bride-to-be graduated from Highland High School and attended Yakima Valley Community College. She is employed at DCFS. The bridegroom-to-be graduated from Lewiston High School in Idaho and Washington State University. He is employed with Boeing.

A June 7 wedding is planned at Cascade Garden.

 

Gipe-DeMarco

Rachel Mae Gipe and Michael James DeMarco have announced their engagement. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Jess Wise of Yakima and the late Deborah Wise. The bridegroom-to-be is the son of Vincent DeMarco of Yakima and the late Sandra DeMarco.

The bride-to-be is employed with Dr. Mark Young Family Dentistry. The bridegroom-to-be is employed at Yakima Steel Fabricators.

A June 14 wedding is planned in Yakima.

 

Hahn-Landis-Keenan

Wayne and Laura Hahn of Yakima announce the engagement of their daughter, Amber Diane Hahn-Landis, to Christopher Storr Keenan. He is the son of Gary and Tina Glenn of Grandview and the late Francis Keenan.

The bride-to-be graduated from Highland High School and earned a bachelor's degree from Pacific Lutheran University and her MBA from Golden Gate University. She is a finance manager for Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital. The bridegroom-to-be graduated from Walla Walla High School and attended college in Walla Walla. He is assistant vice president for Yakima National Bank.

A June 21 wedding is planned in Yakima.

 

Flory-Beattie

David and Carolyn Flory of Yakima announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Marie Flory, to Mark Lee Beattie Jr. He is the son of Mark and Cindy Beattie of Kennewick.

The bride-to-be earned her bachelor's degree in social sciences and a master's in teaching from Washington State University. She is a teacher at Snoqualmie Elementary School. The bridegroom-to-be earned his bachelor's degree in business management and operations. He is a product manager at Telect.

A June 28 wedding is planned in Yakima.

 

Brumback-Londoño

Pamela Marie Brumback and Israel Enrique Londoño have announced their engagement. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Buzz Brumback of Sunnyside and Peggy and Alvin Driesen of Naches. The bridegroom-to-be is the son of Bob and Isabel Allen of Grand Haven, Mich.

The bride-to-be graduated from Sunnyside High School and is pursuing her degree in dental hygiene from Portland Community College. She is employed with Dr. Terry W. Tarrant, D.M.D. The bridegroom-to-be graduated from Grand Haven High School and Western Culinary Institute. He is a catering manager at the Adidas North America campus.

A July 19 wedding is planned at the bride's parent's home in Naches.

 

Hummel-Huibregtse

Mark and Nancy Hummel of Yakima announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie Hummel, to John Huibregtse. He is the son of Bill and Mary Huibregtse of Yakima.

The bride-to-be earned a bachelor of science in nutrition from Central Washington University. She will begin the doctorate of physical therapy program at Eastern Washington University this fall. The bridegroom-to-be earned his bachelor of business administration in accounting from Gonzaga University and a law degree from Seattle University School of Law. He is an attorney and certified public accountant.

An Aug. 23 wedding is planned at the First Presbyterian Church in Yakima.

 

Johnson-Forst

Thea (Holter) Johnson and Andrew Forst have announced their engagement. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Russell Holter of Toppenish and the late Dolly Holter. The bridegroom-to-be is the son of Michael and Rita Forst of Burlington, Wash.

The bride-to-be graduated from Wapato High School. She is employed at Seattle-Tacoma Box Co., in Kent. The bridegroom-to-be graduated from Burlington High School and attended Skagit Valley Community College. He is employed at Frontier Ford in Anacortes, Wash.

An Aug. 9 wedding is planned at Hill Crest Park Lodge in Mount Vernon, Wash.

 

Watts-Buechler

Emily A. Watts and Mark P. Buechler have announced their engagement. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Douglas and Catherine Watts of Toppenish. The bridegroom-to-be is the son of Clyde and Terri Buechler of Zillah.

The bride-to-be earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Washington and is pursuing her master's in social work from Eastern Washington University. She is a local program coordinator for Aging and Long Term Care. The bridegroom-to-be earned his associate of arts from Yakima Valley Community College and is pursuing his bachelor's degree in education from Heritage University. He is an agriculture inspector for the Department of Agriculture.

A Sept. 20 wedding is planned.
