High school seniors and students who are planning to attend Yakima Valley Community College in the fall are invited to YVCC's Spring Fling.

The event takes place from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday. It includes a student-led tour of campus as well as interactive displays and information tables on the school's various clubs and programs. Booths will be set up in the Sundquist Courtyard. A free lunch will be provided.

Check-in takes place from 10:30 to 11 a.m. in the Sherar Gym.

Students can choose to take the COMPASS Placement test in the Deccio Higher Education Center, 1000 S. 12th Ave. For more information about the test, call 574-4970 or 574-4738.
