MATTAWA, WASH. -- The Grant County sheriff's office said a pregnant woman and her unborn child are dead after a shooting in Mattawa late Saturday. The woman was 7 1 / 2 months pregnant.
Chief Deputy Ryan Rectenwald said police and emergency workers found the woman after receiving a report of shots fired. She died at Othello Community Hospital.
Investigators have no information about the shooter.
The woman's identity has not been released.
