Helen F Thompson
SOLDOTNA, AK - Helen F Thompson passed away in Soldotna, Alaska on February 6, 2012.
Born on October 27, 1922 in Pitcher, OK, Helen moved to Yakima with parents at young age.
Preceding her in death are her parents Wesley and Magdaline Blankenship, sisters Hazel and Nadine, brothers Edward and Alfred, and husband Robert E Thompson Sr.
Survived by sister Madelyn Thorpe of Bullhead City, AZ, daughter Ruth E Scott of Selah, daughter and son-in-law Madeline and Craig Haulk of Ninilchik, Alaska, son Robert E Thompson of Kennewick, WA, and daughter and son-in-law Marlene and Del Gilliland of Yakima. She also leaves behind 3 grandsons, Bradley and Brady Kent of Yakima and Marc Thompson of TX, granddaughters April Kent of Toppenish and Amber Gorospe of Prosser, and 2 great grandsons and 1 great granddaughter.
Per her request there will be no formal service and her remains will be placed with Robert E Thompson. In place of flowers mom requests that donations be made to the Human Society Shelter.
A family gathering will take place sometime in April.
