YAKIMA - Steve R. Morphew, 59, of Yakima, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2012 at Yakima Regional Medical Center.
Steve was born January 21, 1953 in Yakima to Robert R. and Blanche (Gutterman) Morphew. He was raised in the Moxee area. Steve enjoyed fishing, reading, music and being with family and friends. He was an office manager for numerous thrift stores.
He is survived by his children, David Edgerly of Yakima, Danielle Morphew of Grandview, MO and stepson, Justin Monson of Bothell, WA; also four grandchildren, one great-grandson soon to be born, a brother, Robert Morphew of Yakima and a nephew Scott Morphew of Yakima. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister.
The family will have a private service.
