Charles F. Adkins

Charles "Chuck" Fredrick Adkins, 54, of Yakima died Wednesday at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital. Mr. Adkins was born in Seattle. He worked at Husch and Husch Fertilizer for many years in various positions.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Adkins of Yakima; a son, Josh Adkins of Wapato; a daughter, Chelsea Adkins of Yakima; and a brother, Donald Adkinsof Yakima.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home in Yakima.

 

Michael D. Barron

Michael D. Barron, 52, of Spokane died Thursday at home. Mr. Barron was born in Toppenish and raised and educated in Wapato. He worked for Keytronics as an engineer in product development. He is an enrolled member of the Yakama Nation.

Survivors include his wife, Christine Cleveland of Spokane; his mother, Jackie Barron of Ritzville; and a brother, Patrick Barron of Yakima.

Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Feb. 17 in Reservation Community Memorial Park, west of Wapato. Arrangements are by Colonial Funeral Home of Yakima.

 

Vernon McMillan

Vernon McMillan, 83, of Yakima died Thursday at Garden Village. Mr. McMillan was born in San Bernardino, Calif. He was a dairy worker.

Survivors include a sister, Mary Kendrick of Yakima.

There will be no services. Arrangements are by Keith and Keith Funeral Home.

 

Donald L. Mohrbacher

Donald L. Mohrbacher, 74, of Yakima died Wednesday at Garden Village. Mr. Mohrbacher was born in New Brighton, Pa. He worked at Best Doors in Union Gap.

Survivors include two brothers, Paul Klear of Kennewick and Larry Klear of Happy Valley, Ore.; and two sisters, Shirley Bush and Darlene Stroud, both of Yakima.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home in Yakima. Graveside service will be at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in West Hills Memorial Park. Those wishing to attend should meet at the cemetery.

 

Steve R. Morphew

Steve R. Morphew, 59, of Yakima died Thursday at Yakima Regional Medical and Cardiac Center. Mr. Morphew was born in Yakima. He worked a variety of jobs, working as an office manager for thrift stores.

Survivors include two children, David Edgerly of Yakima and Danielle Morphew of Grandview, Mo.; a stepson, Justin Monson of Bothell; a brother, Robert Morphew of Yakima; and four grandchildren.

A private family service will be held. Arrange-ments are by Affordable Funeral Care of Yakima.


Reba O. Harris

Reba "Judy" Ovaline Harris, 86, of Yakima died Tuesday at Good Samaritan Health Care Center. Mrs. Harris was born in Scotland, Ark. She and her husband owned and operated Gene's Used Cars from 1953 until they retired in 1973.

Survivors include two daughters, Linda Price of Yakima and Phyllis Barnes of the Lower Valley; a sister, Carmel Trimm of McKinleyville, Calif.; three grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Keith and Keith Ninth Avenue Chapel in Yakima. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Keith and Keith Terrace Heights Chapel with a reception immediately following. Graveside committal service will be at 12:30 p.m. Monday in Terrace Heights Memorial Park.

 

Joe Russac

Joe Russac, 94, of Yakima died Sunday at Summitview Health Care Center. Mr. Russac was born in Pittsburg, Okla. He was a civil engineer with the Washington state Department of Transportation for 30 years.

Survivors include his children, Wendi Russac of Seattle, Randy Russac of Jacksonville, Fla., Barrie Russac of Bozeman, Mont., and Carla Nesland of Yakima; a brother, Matt Russac of Oklahoma; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are by Keith and Keith Funeral Home of Yakima.

 

Charles R. Paul

Charles Robert Paul, 86, of Sunnyside died Thursday in Richland. Mr. Paul was born in Logansport, Ind.

Survivors include his wife, Arlene Paul of Sunnyside; six children, Tom Paul and Melody VanBelle, both of Prosser, Barbara Leaverton of the Tri-Cities, Bruce Paul of Sunnyside, Phillip Paul of Tacoma and Rene Gangloff of SeaTac; a brother, Harry Paul of Florida; 18 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Smith Funeral Home in Sunnyside. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Neighborhood Assembly of God Church in Sunnyside. Burial will follow in Lower Valley Memorial Gardens.
