Donna J. Crawford
Donna Juanita Crawford, 78, of Yakima died Sunday at Wynwood of Yakima.
Mrs. Crawford was born in Clarkston.
Survivors include four daughters, Debra Dovel of Yakima, Irene Allen of Spokane and Linda Mills and Susan Crawford, both of Portland; a brother, Willie Moody of Yakima; seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Keith and Keith Ninth Avenue Chapel in Yakima.
Sarah M. Parrish
Sarah Michelle Parrish, 23, of Selah died Wednesday at home.
Ms. Parrish was born in Bellevue and raised in Silverdale. She moved to Ellensburg to attend Central Washington University and pursue a degree in theater education and English. She moved to Selah in 2010, when illness forced her to quit school.
Survivors include her parents, Shari Parrish of Selah and Jeff Parrish of Walterboro, S.C.; a sister, Rachel Parrish of Selah; her grandparents, Dale Yates of East Wenatchee and Bob and Nina Parrish of Guyton, Ga.; and her great-grandfather, Emmett Hurley of Bonney Lake.
A memorial service will be from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the Smith Tower Theater on the second floor of McConnell Hall on the Central Washington University campus in Ellensburg. Arrangements are by Affordable Funeral Care, Yakima.
Maria Ramos
Maria del Rosario Ramos, 78, of Zillah died Friday at home.
Mrs. Ramos was born in Michoacn, Mexico. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include four sons, Eduardo Sabalsa and Mario Sabalsa, both of Zillah, Manuel Sabalsa of Arlington and Oscar Sabalsa of Wapato; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Viewing is from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today, with recitation of the rosary at 6 p.m., at Valley Hills Funeral Home, Zillah. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Granger.
Maria I. Alvarez
Maria Isabel Alvarez, 85, of Prosser died Monday at home.
Mrs. Alvarez was born in Michoacn, Mexico. She moved to the United States in 1987, and settled in Prosser.
Survivors include seven children, Vicente Alvarez, Maria del Carmen Mendoza, Adolfo Alvarez, Alonso Alvarez, David Alvarez, Jose Jesus Alvarez and Maria Guadalupe Cepeda; 29 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at Prosser Funeral Home, followed by the recitation of the rosary at 5 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Prosser. Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial to follow in the Prosser Cemetery.
Walter W. Hill
Walter W. Hill, 55, of Yakima died Saturday at Yakima Regional Medical and Cardiac Center.
Mr. Hill was born in Stanley, N.D. He worked in the fruit industry as a forklift driver. He also was a mechanic during his free time.
Survivors include three children, Allen Hill, James Hill and Marci Hill, all of Portland; and three siblings, Starly Hill, Venus Hill and Arvid Hill, all of Yakima.
No memorial services are planned at this time. Arrangements are by Affordable Funeral Care, Yakima.
Julia Riojas Pina
Julia Riojas Pina, 55, of Yakima died Thursday at home.
Mrs. Riojas Pina was born in Seminole, Texas.
Survivors include seven children, Amelia Riojas, Antonio Pina Costollano, Jose Pina, Jesus Pina, Rogelio Diaz, Roberto Rizo and Julia Rizo.
A memorial service has been held. Arrangements were by Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home of Yakima.
