Lumina E. Saysell
Lumina "Lou" Emma Saysell, 98, of Selah died Wednesday. Mrs. Saysell was born in Salem, Ore., and moved to Yakima in 1935. She worked for Del Monte cannery for 25 years.
Survivors include a son, Wayne Haney of Selah; two daughters, Darlene Bisel and Sharon Beatty, both of Selah; nine grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Shaw and Sons Funeral Directors in Yakima. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Terrace Heights Memorial Park.
Mabel Nixon Stark
Mabel Nixon Stark, 99, of Sunnyside died Wednesday. Mrs. Stark was born in Mapleton, Iowa.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Monday at Smith Funeral Home in Sunnyside. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery.
