Mary M. Davis
Mary "Marci" M. Davis, 71, of Kittitas died Saturday. Mrs. Davis was born in Ellensburg. She worked as a grocery clerk at Safeway for 20 years, first in Bellevue and then transferring to Ellensburg in 1979.
Survivors include a son, Eddie Davis; two brothers, Duane Jones and Tom Jones; and two sisters, Jo English and Gail Johnson.
Celebration of life will be at 1 p.m. Feb. 12 at Hal Holmes Center in Ellensburg. Arrangements are by Affordable Funeral Care of Ellensburg.
Benjamin L. Rinehold
Benjamin L. Rinehold, 78, of Sunnyside died Tuesday in Yakima. Mr. Rinehold was born in Granger. He owned and operated bars and in Hoquiam and Aberdeen. He also was an orchardist/rancher for many years.
Survivors include a daughter, Kathy Paulus of Sunnyside; two sons, Richard Rinehold of Sunnyside and Steve Rinehold of McMinnville, Ore.; a sister, Linda Storey of Spokane; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
At his request, there will be no service. A family memorial will be at a later date. Arrangements are by Keith and Keith Funeral Home of Yakima.
Beverly A. Walston
Beverly A. Walston, 83, of Yakima died Monday at Crescent Convalescent. Mrs. Walston was born in The Dalles, Ore. She worked in the Senior Chore services.
Survivors include a daughter, Marcy Walston; and a son, Leslie Walston, both of Yakima.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home in Yakima. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday, also at the funeral home.
Gerald Galliher
Gerald "Jerry" Galliher, 68, of Prosser died Saturday at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland. Mr. Galliher was born in Pasco and spent his early years in Walla Walla. He served in the Army. After returning to Prosser, he worked at Van DeGraff Farms and then went to work as a mechanic at Twin City Foods. He later owned the Burger Factory, the Family Tree Restaurant and a car wash in Prosser.
Survivors include his wife, Alicia Galliher of Prosser; two daughters, Dusty Rhea of Jolon, Calif., and Tammy Feakin of Prosser; a son, David Galliher of West Richland; a brother, Ted Galliher of Yuma, Ariz.; and three grandchildren.
The funeral will be at noon today at First Presbyterian Church in Prosser. Burial with full military honors will follow in the Prosser Cemetery. Arrangements are by Prosser Funeral Home.
John D. Hughes
John Dennis Hughes, 66, of Sunnyside died Tuesday. Mr. Hughes was born in LaGrande, Ore.
Survivors include his wife, Regina Hughes of Sunnyside; three sons, Joseph Hughes of Philadelphia, Michael Hughes of Portland, and Jack Harroun of Vancouver, Wash.; two daughters, Autumn Gray of Poway, Calif., and Windy Hardee of Bainbridge Island; a brother, Tom Hughes of Hillsboro, Ore.; two stepsisters, Kathy and Sandra; and seven grandchildren.
Celebration of life will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Sunnyside Presbyterian Church. Arrangements are by Smith Funeral Home of Sunnyside.
