* Katrina Anderson of Fulcrum Environmental Consulting has completed a two-day training course to become a certified Erosion and Sediment Control Lead. She learned concepts and applications and had a day of field training. Anderson's certification allows her to provide oversight at construction sites for stormwater management and soil erosion.

 

Finance

* Intuit Corp. recently selected Barbara Culver as a tax expert for its Turbo Tax Ask a Tax Expert program. Culver, of IQ Tax Center, will provide tax knowledge to those who use the Turbo Tax software. Culver is also an enrolled agent, an independent, federally authorized tax practitioner who has demonstrated a high level of competence in taxation.

 

Health

* Vicki Gibson recently attended a reconnection healing seminar from Dr. Eric Pear in Los Angeles. Gibson is owner of PIVOT, a practice of Reiki, a Japanese healing technique that helps people gain deep relaxation, pain reduction and elimination, and increased energy.
