SNOQUALMIE PASS, Wash. -- The state’s busiest mountain pass is open this morning, but adverse weather and multiple accidents forced the closure of eastbound lanes on Snoqualmie Pass near Denny Creek last night.
Lanes were closed at 5 p.m. and reopened at 5:50 p.m., according to a state Department of Transportation news release.
Compact snow and ice in places is reported on the roadway this morning.
Traction tires are advised oversized vehicles are prohibited at this time, according to DOT’s web site.
