YAKIMA, Wash. -- Winners of a business plan competition will be announced at a luncheon Friday.
The winners will be chosen from eight finalists in the Enterprise Challenge, a competition organized by New Vision -- Yakima County Development Association, the county's economic development arm.
The eight finalists received additional mentoring and attended an entrepreneur boot camp. They submitted their final business plans last week and will make final presentations Thursday.
The top three finalists will receive cash prices totaling $17,500.
The luncheon, which costs $20, will be from noon to 1 p.m. at the Yakima Red Lion, 607 E. Yakima Ave. For more information or to register, call 509-575-1140.
