YAKIMA, Wash. -- An 18-year-old male and three juvenile males were arrested in Yakima late Sunday night for attempted robbery.

Sgt. Shelley Upton of the Yakima Police Department said that the four males attempted to rob a man in the 800 block of North First Street about 11:30 p.m. Sunday.

According to the victim, the four males brandished a rifle from their car and demanded money while he was working on his car.

The victim was able to flee and called police from a cell phone, providing them with a license plate number.

Police stopped the vehicle a few minutes later and spotted the rifle through the window.

The adult was booked into the county jail early Monday morning, while the three minors were sent to juvenile hall.
