NEW Heavy traffic still makes for slow going on Interstate 90

YAKIMA, Wash. -- Heavy traffic continues to clog westbound Interstate 90 near Snoqualmie Pass as of 6 p.m., according to the Washington State Department of Transportation. 

Motorists will experience 24 miles of congestion and 30 minutes of added travel time due to heavy holiday traffic, according to a news release from the department.

Congestion begins at milepost 85 and ends at milepost 61, from Cle Elum to Price Creek.
