Police are looking for the driver of a white van that fled the scene of an injury accident one mile west of Cle Elum late Friday.
The crash took place around 11:30 p.m. on Interstate 90 when the van, eastbound in the left lane, swerved into the right lane, hitting a 1997 Land Rover Discovery, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The Discovery rolled, coming to a rest on its top.
The driver, 42-year-old Timothy Hoberock of Redmond, Wash., was taken to Snoqualmie Valley Hospital with cuts and abrasions. The passenger, 32-year-old Lucy Reyes-Hoberock, was taken to the same hospital with a back injury.
Both were wearing seat belts, according to the State Patrol, which cited the cause of the accident as unsafe lane change.
The van, whose make and model remain unknown, fled the scene. Its driver faces felony hit-and-run charges, according to the state patrol.
