From the Yakima Herald-Republic Online News.
As of Wednesday at deadline time, there were still tickets available for Bob Dylan and John Mellencamp tonight at Yakima County Stadium.
So this means that Bob Dylan, possibly the most influential single performer in pop music history, is coming to Yakima and most of you haven't bought tickets yet. Yes, it's a pricey show at $55, but that's for two Rock and Roll Hall of Fame members. And it's right here in town, so you don't need to factor in gas money like you would for a show in Seattle or Portland.
We at On magazine understand that Dylan isn't for everyone. Perhaps he's more respected than adored, but we recommend you check him out if for no other reason than you get to breathe the same air for a night as the man who wrote "Like a Rolling Stone," "Visions of Johanna," "Tangled Up in Blue" and "Mississippi."
All tickets are general admission. They're available from www.ticketfly.com, www.bobdylan.com, by phone at 877-435-9849 or from the Yakima Bears downtown ticket office. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. The show starts at 6:30 p.m.
