SUNNYSIDE -- National Night Out is expanding to two nights.
Organizers of Sunnyside's annual crime-prevention community festival have scheduled entertainment activities for Monday to complement several block parties scheduled for National Night Out on Tuesday.
The day-before festival will be 5:30-8 p.m. at the Sunnyside HAPO Community Credit Union, 322 S. Sixth St., and will feature a sidewalk art contest and a live music performance by Seattle children's band Recess Monkey. Advance registration is recommended for the art contest.
