YAKIMA, Wash. — The  woman who died this morning from injuries suffered in a one-car crash near Wapato Monday night has been identified as Susy Jo Frazier, the Washington State Patrol said.

The 27-year-old died at Yakima Regional Medical and Cardiac Center.

According to a patrol accident memorandum released early this morning, the woman was eastbound on Jones Road, a mile east of Wapato, when her 1993 Mitsubishi Galant drove onto the road shoulder and overturned.

It is unknown if drugs or alcohol played a role in the accident. She was not wearing a seat belt, troopers said. The vehicle was destroyed.

The crash occurred about 7:30 p.m. Monday.
