MOXEE, Wash. -- Police are looking for a man suspected of trying to lure a teenage girl into a minivan Friday afternoon.
The girl was walking home from school near North Rivard Road about 3:15 p.m. when a man motioned her toward him and opened the door of his late-model, tan minivan, according to a news release issued Saturday by the Moxee Police.
The girl ran away screaming and the man sped away.
The suspect is described as a Latino male, 25 to 30 years old with a shaved head, thin mustache and a goatee.
Anyone with information is asked to call Moxee police at 509-575-8850.
Last week, Yakima police announced they were looking for a man suspected of trying to lure two girls, ages 9 and 10, on separate occasions into his pickup on March 1 and 2.
Police said that driver was described as a white male in his 20s, clean shaven with short blonde hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a dark green hooded jacket.
One girl described the truck as green and white, while the other said the pickup was an older, dirty truck of a silver or grayish, according to a news release.
Anyone who may have seen a man or vehicle matching the descriptions near an elementary school is asked to call Yakima Police at 509-575-6200.
