Kenneth K. Kendig
Kenneth Keith Kendig, 84, of Yakima died Saturday at Good Samaritan Health Care Center in Yakima.
Mr. Kendig was born in Arna, Kan.
Survivors include three children, Sam Kendig, Anna Brandt and Dennis Kendig, all of Yakima; a sister, Helen Hill of Yakima; three brothers, Ralph Kendig and Leslie Kendig, both of Seattle, and Johnnie Kendig of Yakima; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Friday at the Keith and Keith Terrace Heights Chapel. Arrangements are by Keith and Keith Funeral Home of Yakima.
Roger E. Speedis
Roger Elliott Speedis "Tahmalily," 63, of Wapato died Saturday at home.
Mr. Speedis was born in White Swan. He worked for the Yakama Nation in forest development and at Legends Casino.
Survivors include three children, Prescott Speedis of Wapato, Christine Speedis of Yakima and Dulcie Marek of Wapato; his companion, Marlene Yallup of Wapato; four brothers, Ross Sockzehigh and Numa Speedis, both of Wapato, Alan Tahkeal of Toppenish and Monte Speedis of Harrah; eight sisters, Lucinda Bill, Stella Speedis, Adrienne Speedis and Louise Price, all of Wapato, Roseline Yallup of Toppenish, Sandra Speedis of White Swan, Kalea Benson of Brownstown and Carol Speedis of Union Gap; 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Dressing services will be at 11 a.m. today at the White Swan Longhouse. The body will leave at sunrise Tuesday for burial at Toppenish Creek Cemetery. Arrangements are by Merritt Funeral Home of Wapato.
Laurence Kramer
Laurence "Larry" Kramer, 80, of Yakima died Saturday in Yakima. Mr. Kramer was born in Toppenish.
Survivors include his wife, Louise Kramer of Yakima; a son, James Kramer of Portland; a daughter, Kim Williamson of Vancouver, Wash.; and five grandchildren.
Services are pending. Arrangements are by Keith and Keith Funeral Home of Yakima.
