YAKIMA -- A rollover crash near the Southeast Yakima Community Center sent one man to the hospital Saturday.
The crash occurred at 1:25 p.m. at the intersection of Arlington and Seventh streets, a residential neighborhood that is adjacent to the community center.
Police said a green SUV flipped over after it collided with a small white car, which sustained only minor damage.
The driver of the SUV, a 26-year-old Yakima man, escaped serious injury but was treated for a possible concussion.
The other driver also escaped injury but got a ticket for failure to yield, police said.
Despite posted speed limits under 35 mph on most city streets, there are several rollovers a year inside the city limits.
