A natural gift for memorizing and a quirky sense of humor are combining this weekend to help earthquake victims in Haiti.

Cowboy poet Tim Jenne is performing in Mattawa today, and the laughs are designed to go to a good cause.

The show begins at 6 p.m. in the Wahluke High School auditorium on Boundary Road. Tickets cost $10, which will go to disaster victims in Haiti through the Latter Day Saints Humanitarian Services.

Jenne, of Mattawa, has been crafting poems about his life as an "Old Cowhand" for nearly 20 years.
