If midweek bar-going isn't for you, there are other St. Patrick's Day options. The Rattlesnake Hills wineries will offer wine specials, Irish food and Celtic music from Wednesday until March 20. For details, call 509-965-4521.
And the La Salle High School St. Patrick's Day Gala fundraiser is Saturday. It's sold out, but if you're lucky enough to have tickets, you're in for a night of limitless Guinness, delicious corned beef and live music.
And if you don't have tickets, you can still help La Salle by participating in Saturday's Shamrock Cup, the annual St. Patrick's Day 6-K fun run at the school. The entry fee is $12 for adults, $8 for students, and that includes a shamrock T-shirt. Registration begins at 7 a.m. The race starts at 9 a.m. For more information, visit www.lasalleyakima.com.
