SUNNYSIDE -- A Pasco man who robbed a bank here in January has pleaded guilty in Yakima County Superior Court.
On March 4, Gerardo Rios Orosco, 38, pleaded guilty to first degree robbery and was sentenced to 54 months in prison.
On Jan. 11, Rios Orosco entered the Yakima Federal Savings and Loan in Sunnyside, approached a teller and demanded an undisclosed amount of money. He never showed a weapon, but the teller complied.
Sunnyside police arrested the man later that day just a block or two away.
Rios Orosco also faces undisclosed federal probation violations.
