NACHES, Wash. -- Authorities say a 2-year-old boy and a 41-year-old woman were briefly hospitalized Monday after their pickup slid into a rock wall and came to rest on its side on U.S. Highway 12.
Georgia and Landon King, both of Glenoma, Wash., were taken to Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital, where they were treated and released, hospital officials said.
The accident happened around 10:30 a.m. as the truck was headed west about 13 miles west of Naches, according to a Washington State Patrol memo.
Troopers said Georgia King was driving too fast in icy conditions. She was not cited. No other vehicles were involved. Both occupants were wearing seat belts.
