Education
Perry Technical Institute has named Jake Jundt to its board of trustees.
Jundt owns Jundt PMC, a full-service construction management company. A Yakima native, Jundt has nearly 40 years of construction and project management experience. He co-founded Tri-Ply Construction in 1977 and served as company president until selling the business in 2002.
Jundt earned a bachelor of science degree in engineering from the University of Washington. He worked for General Electric for three years before returning to his hometown to accept a position as construction project manager and cost estimator for Gilbert H. Moen Construction Co. where he worked until founding Tri-Ply.
Insurance
Washington State Insurance Commissioner Mike Kreidler has reappointed David Hargreaves to serve on the Insurance Commission's agent/broker advisory committee. The appointment is for a two-year term.
Hargreaves, vice president of Argus Insurance, has continuously served on this committee since its inception through appointments by the last three commissioners.
Hargreaves has been in the insurance industry in Washington for 33 years, and has been Argus Insurance since its formation in 1983. Argus Insurance has offices in Yakima, Sunnyside, Ellensburg and Moses Lake.
Nonprofit
Mt. Adams Health Foundation has announced its board of directors and officers 2010.
Board officers are: Mateo Arteaga, Central Washington University, president; Norm Inaba, Inaba Farms, vice president; Mike Gempler, Washington Growers League, treasurer; Bertha Ortega, Heritage University, secretary.
The board's directors are: Jeff Baldwin, Rainier Fruit Co.; Renee Bouchey, Bouchey Farms Inc.; Connie Falon, Smith Barney; Chuck Linker, Costco; and Ricardo Valdez, University of Washington.
Baldwin, Falon and Linker are new to the board and have all been elected to three-year terms. Jerry Besel will continue to serve as the foundation's executive director.
Sales
Lee Peterson Motors has promoted David J. Cunningham to the position of general sales manager. Cunningham, who is in his 16th year with the dealership, will direct all facets of the sales department including financing, marketing, advertising and sales staff supervision.
