YAKIMA, Wash. -- Overnight snow and icy road conditions have prompted some local school officials to delay the start of school today.
The following school districts are running two hours late this morning: Yakima, Selah, East Valley and Union Gap.
There is no morning pre-school in the Yakima School District, and students are being asked to use alternate bus routes.
St. Paul's Cathedral school and Perry Tech also are running two hours late.
The Naches School District is using alternate bus routes today.
There are no reported delays in the West Valley School District or at Riverside Christian School in Yakima.
