EASTON, Wash. — A 23-year-old woman was treated for chest pain at Kittitas Valley Community Hospital in Ellensburg after crashing her car into a parked semi on Interstate 90, the Washington State Patrol reported.
The crash was reported about 6:30 p.m. Sunday outside of Easton.
Troopers said the injured driver, Eun A. Kim of Kent, Wash., was westbound in a Toyota Camry when she lost control, spun out and the trailer of a semi that was parked in the chain-up area on the shoulder.
No other injuries were reported.
Troopers blamed the crash on speed and said they expected to give Kim a ticket.
She was wearing a seat belt, and intoxicants were not suspected, authorities said.
