YAKIMA, Wash. -- An information session on immigration will be held Saturday at offices of the Catholic Diocese of Yakima at 5301 Tieton Drive.
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services is hosting the free workshop from 1-3 p.m. to discuss the naturalization process and provide information about eligibility and residency requirements, application forms, fees, background security checks and processing times.
The session is part of a larger initiative to help immigrants better understand the naturalization process, including the content of a new naturalization test that started Oct. 1, and to become familiar with resources from the agency, according to a news release from the agency.
An earlier notice about this session listed the wrong date.
