Information session on immigration planned
YAKIMA HERALD-REPUBLIC
YAKIMA — An information session on immigration will be held Thursday at offices of the Catholic Diocese of Yakima at 5301 Tieton Drive.
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services is hosting the session from 1-3 p.m. to discuss the naturalization process and provide information about eligibility and residency requirements, application forms, fees, background security checks and processing times.
The session is part of a larger initiative to help immigrants better understand the naturalization process, including the content of a new naturalization test that started Oct. 1, and to become familiar with resources from the agency, according to a news release from the agency.
