Vaccine for the seasonal flu, which has been especially hard to find in Yakima County, will be available in Yakima at Wray's at the Chalet Mall on Saturday, Dec. 5.
The clinic will run from noon to 4 p.m. at the store, which is at 56th and Summitview avenues. The cost is $30.
Getaflushot.com is sponsoring the clinic. Nurse practitioner Stephen Allred said his business was able to get a November shipment of the scarce vaccine. A second clinic will be scheduled if there is enough demand, he said.
Vaccinations against the H1N1 or swine flu are available at Wrays and several other locations around the county. To find the sites, go to the Yakima Health District Web page at www.yakimahealthdistrict.org/
