Susan La Riviere's latest Yakima Valley novel, "The Brothers," brings us the latest adventure from the Gunderson family out in Naches.
The self-published work, La Riviere's third, has Jake and Levi Gunderson fighting for their lives after a routine hike into the Cascades turns deadly. But it's not just a story about adventure; it's one of family and the obstacles that loyalty can overcome.
"The Brothers" will be of special interest to local readers, who will recognize places and characters taken from real life in the Yakima Valley.
La Riviere will sign copies of the book Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon at Inklings Bookshop, 5629 Summitview Ave. For more information, visit www.susanlariviere.com.
