HARRAH -- A 75-year-old Harrah man died this morning in a collision caused by a driver running a stop sign, the Washington State Patrol said.
Theron Feil of Harrah was pronounced dead at the scene of a two-car collision about 10:10 a.m. at the intersection of Evans and Harrah roads, one mile north of Harrah.
Troopers say Sarah White, 35, of Zillah failed to stop at the stop sign on westbound Evans Road in her 1997 Chevrolet Lumina.
As she came through intersection, she struck Theron, who was driving south on Harrah Road in a 2003 Mercury Marquis, according to a state patrol news release.
White and her two passengers, Michelle Garcia, 37, of Wapato, and Romana Smartlowit, 40, of Yakima, were taken by ambulance to Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital.
The accident is still under investigation, but troopers believe alcohol or drugs contributed to the collision, the release said.
All four people involved were wearing seatbelts.
