MATTAWA -- A Mattawa man was taken to Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital with a leg injury after a rollover accident Friday afternoon.
The accident took place about 3 p.m. about a mile and a half south of Mattawa on State Route 243.
Eusebio Ruiz-Sanchez, 31, was traveling northbound when his car went across all lanes of traffic and rolled, coming to a rest on the southbound shoulder.
According to the Washington State Patrol, he wasn't wearing a seat belt, and alcohol was involved.
Ruiz-Sanchez faces charges of driving under the influence and failure to wear a seat belt, according to the state patrol.
According to a nursing supervisor at Memorial, Ruiz-Sanchez was in still in the emergency room Friday night but was listed in good condition.
