Chamber will put on grant-writing workshop

YAKIMA, Wash. -- The Greater Yakima Chamber of Commerce is holding a workshop on grant writing from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.Tuesday at the chamber building at 10 N. Ninth St.

Wilma Dulin, faculty director for the Office of Institutional Effectiveness at Yakima Valley Community College, will provide information on identifying and evaluating new funding opportunities, guidelines for submitting proposals and tips on producing winning grants.

The workshop costs $20 for chamber members and $25 for nonchamber members and includes lunch. For more information or to register, call 509-248-2021 or log on to www.yakima.org.
