Tater, left, Tiny and Moxie wait for the start of the annual Halloween costume contest for pets Thursday at the Big R store in Yakima. The pug mixes are owned by Dee and Alice Arnold of Moxee. Tater, dressed as a pumpkin, won first place in the 20- to 25-pound class. Dog food was awarded to the top three finishers in the various weight classes. About 20 dogs and one goat took part in the contest.
